Membership benefits for Member Theatre Groups

The Theatre Roundtable exists to advocate theater in Central Ohio. Through our newsletter, regular networking and other community outreach efforts, we help make theater a vital and visible part of the communities around us. When you join as an organization, you will find your membership rewarding and worthwhile.

There are many benefits for joining Theatre Roundtable:

1)     A network of peers

Theatre members are invited to monthly meetings for the Theatre Roundtable.  These meetings we discuss all aspects of theatre.  You will gain

   a.     Shared awareness of what other theatres are doing

   b.     Advanced notice of theatre seasons

   c.      New Thoughts, New Ideas

   d.     Access to mentors

2)     Access to resources

   a.     Unified auditions is a single place where local actors can audition for the majority of theatre companies in central Ohio

   b.     Access to other theatre resources through networking theatres often help other theatres find those hard to get items

   c.      Potential performance space.  Theatre Roundtable is currently looking for a performance space to assist several of our member theatres.

3)     Unified Advocacy

   a.     Over a score of theatres can speak louder than an individual theatre

   b.     Issues that directly affect theatre in Central Ohio can be addressed

4)     Tools to help member theatres enlarge their audience

   a.     Workshops throughout the year

   b.     Access to membership databases for direct mails

5)     Awards night

   a.     Only members theatres may win awards at the awards night.

6)     Support Theatre in Central Ohio

Any theater organization wishing membership on the Roundtable ($75 annual fee) should contact Barb at bblankenship@blicci.com to be advised of their qualifications. If qualified, the necessary paperwork will be mailed

There are many benefits for joining Theatre Roundtable:

1)     Discounts to theatre across Central Ohio. 
Theatre Roundtable Individual Members receive various discounts from participating member theaters.  These range from buy one get one free to free tickets.  Click here for details.

2)     Audition for multiple theatres at the Unified Audition
Every year RT holds auditions where theatre from all over central Ohio come to see the best in Ohio.  When available, details will appear on the website.

3)     News of happenings at Central Ohio Theatres
RT provide news of what is happing in theatres all over central Ohio.  We currently have a quarterly newsletter and plan to do e-mail news in the future.  Example Newsletters Here Here and Here

4)     Awards night
The Theatre Roundtable of Central Ohio offers an annual Awards Event open to all theatre advocates.  This event, typically in February, offers networking opportunities in fun and friendship.  Awards are offered by the Theatre Roundtable as well as the Central Ohio Theatre Critics Circle.

5)     Workshops
Starting this year we are planning a series of workshops based on member feedback.  Our first will be an audition boot camp provided in time to prepare for your unified auditions.  Date TBA.

6)     Support theatre in central Ohio
As always one of the best reasons to join is to support theatre in central Ohio. 

Any person interested in becoming an Individual Member ($20 annually) can submit the form available on our site to the address indicated.
